Saturday we had a splendid dinner at Aqua in Tsim Sha Tsui.
I made David ride the Star Ferry across the harbor and from there it was a short walk amidst other valentines to the One Peking building. It's a long escalator ride at the sleek building up to the 29th floor, the penthouse of the building, to the Aqua Roma/Aqua Tokyo restaurant.
This restaurant has the best view of Hong Kong island as seen from across the harbor.
We ate an interesting 5-course set meal that included some raw seafood, as well as some pasta, with descriptions as follows:
-Grilled spicy sashimi with qine jelly (Giant botan prawn, scallop, octopus, sea urchin),
-Ricotta ravioli with asparagus, parmigiano reggiano & crispy sage,
-Blanched tiger prawn and taraba king crab sushi,
-pan fried halibut with cod fish roe & sea urchin mixed sour soy sauce & bamboo shoot,
-chocolate terrine with coffee sorbet & creme anglais.
